Aster Morrigan is known as many things. He's a man of his word, the cool and collected type, an exemplary employee. However, not many people in Castelia City could claim to truly know him - or even talk to him, for that matter.

Aster moved to Castelia City when he was ten years old. Though lots of kids start their path to become trainers by that age, Aster was already certain that career was not for him. He spent most of his childhood solving riddles and exploring the nooks and crannies of the Sevii Islands. It was on Seven Island that he met Thuban, when she was just a Dratini. A rare sighting as she was, Aster stumbled upon a battle between the weak Dratini and a vicious, highly territorial Skarmory. Aster defended Thuban and they both escaped, but not before the Skarmory raked it's sharp claws across Aster's face. Thuban and Aster were inseparable since then. He also realized that he wished to help those in need in whatever way he could.

Life in the city was not very kind to Aster. He was used to open, clean spaces full of nature and places to explore, and yet the idea to leave with Thuban and become a full-time trainer did not appeal to Aster, who had always had an aversion for Pokemon battles. In the end he settled for a proper education, and was glad to learn in his teens about the career path of the Agents. In the workplace, he still didn't make a lot of friends, mainly because he rarely spoke unless spoken to, and was always very commited to abiding by workplace rules - no sneaking out during job hours, no eating inside the workplace and most definitely no drinking. His great observation capabilities and relentless nature proved him to be a pretty good interrogator, but throughout the years Aster also tried to keep a good physique that would allow him to keep up on field jobs. Thuban's moveset evolved to give her mobility and options to immobilize opponents.

After hearing of the upcoming changes to the Goldenrod Bureau, Aster's left Castelia City with letters of recommendation from his superiors, a great desire for new work frontiers - and the secret hope for new friendships to be formed.
